Creighton University's College of Business, TD AMERITRADE, Omaha Fashion Week, Omaha's Council of Companies and Joslyn's Young Art Patrons are partnering to bring you the social networking event of the year -- "The Business of Fashion"! Come mix, mingle and broaden your network as you learn from both new and seasoned local artists about Omaha's fashion culture. Omaha Fashion Week brings the largest fashion party in history to Omaha, with events happening from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Fashion's Night Out (FNO) was launched last year by the publishers of Vogue, Conde Nast. On the same night that fashionistas are celebrating all over the U.S., you can hop from store to store, enjoying the best in style that Omaha has to offer! Beginning at 6pm Nomad plays host to a fundraiser for the Women's Fund of Omaha. We will auction off eight full-sized mannequins that have been individually decorated by some of Omaha's finest visual artists. Following this artistic marriage of fashion and fine art will be Runway Show #4 at 8pm. $5 at the door.
Friday, I'm in love... with great fashion. Grab your cocktails beginning at 6pm and then find your favorite seat near the catwalk. The spotlights turn on at 8 for the Featured Designers Runway Show. But that's not all. Mix, mingle and dance 'til 2am with models and designers at OFW's VIP Reception. $5 at the door.
Finally the Finale! Featuring sixteen of the area's best designers and over 300 feet of runway, this is one event you have to see to believe. Start the evening off right in our beer garden and enjoy food, vendors and live music as OFW takes over Jones Street. Gates open at 6pm and Runway Show begins at 8pm.
